WattCAST brings the world's live media together on one free page: live television, national radio stations and the front pages of major newspapers, from dozens of countries.

We started WattCAST for people who follow the news as it happens. When something big is unfolding, you shouldn't have to search across ten websites to find a live picture. WattCAST gathers the official free streams that broadcasters make available and puts them side by side, so you can watch, listen and compare in seconds.

What we do

We select and organise official, free-to-air streams: international news channels, public broadcasters, space agencies, parliaments and hundreds of radio stations. We check links regularly, list the day's major live events, and let you watch up to four channels at once.

What we don't do

WattCAST does not host, record or rebroadcast any programme. Every stream is provided by its broadcaster, either on its own website or through its official channel on a video platform. All channel and station names and logos belong to their owners and are shown only to identify their services.

Broadcasters and partners

If you run a channel or station and would like to be listed, update your details, or have your service removed, contact us at [email protected]. We respond to every request.

Who we are

WattCAST.com is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact: [email protected].

Using WattCAST without an account

You can use WattCAST without signing in. Your favourites, colour choice and similar settings are then stored only in your own browser and are never sent to us.

If you create an account

When you sign in, we store your email address, your list of favourite channels, stations and webcams, and the dates you signed in. We use them only to let you sign in and to show your favourites on all your devices. We never sell your data and never use it for advertising.

Sign-in emails

Sign-in links are sent by our email provider, Brevo, which processes your email address only to deliver the message.

Cookies

When you sign in we set one essential cookie (wc_session) that keeps you signed in for up to 90 days. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Video players from third parties such as YouTube may set their own cookies when you watch a channel.

Visitor counter

We count how many people visit WattCAST each day, without cookies and without storing anything that identifies you: each visit becomes an anonymous code that changes every day and is deleted after two days. Only the daily total is kept.

Hosting

The site and its database are hosted by Cloudflare.

How long we keep data

Your account data is kept until you delete your account. Unused sign-in links expire after 15 minutes and are removed after one day.

Your rights

You can delete your account and all its data at any time: tap the account button at the top of the page, then "Delete my account". You can also ask us to access, correct or delete your data by writing to [email protected], and you may complain to your national data protection authority.

2. The service

The Site is a free directory that links to and embeds live television streams, radio streams and newspaper websites published by third parties. We do not host, store, record or retransmit any audio or video content. Streams are delivered directly from the broadcaster or from the platform it has chosen.

3. Third-party content

All programmes, streams, names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their availability, quality and content are the sole responsibility of those owners. 4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You must not copy, record, redistribute or resell any stream accessed through the Site, attempt to bypass geographic or technical restrictions set by broadcasters, disrupt the Site, or use automated tools to extract its content.

5. Copyright and removal requests

We respect the rights of content owners. If you believe that a link or listing on the Site infringes your rights, write to [email protected] identifying the content, your rights and your contact details. We will review the request and remove the listing promptly where appropriate.

6. No warranty

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that any stream or link will be available, uninterrupted, accurate or free of errors. Schedules and event listings are for information only and may change without notice.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Site or of third-party services reached through it, including interruption of service or the content of third-party programmes. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Privacy and cookies

The Site stores a small amount of information in your browser (for example your favourite channels). Embedded players from third parties such as YouTube may set their own cookies. See our privacy policy for details: Privacy policy.
